Teen Age Boys are Always Hungry

Tressa and I lived in the apartment in the 1600 North house from August 1993 until June 1996.  While we lived there Tressa would occasionally make homemade bread.  She knew that Dad especially liked homemade bread so she would leave a loaf on Mom and Dad's counter in the kitchen when ever she made some. One day Tressa dropped off a loaf on her way downstairs to put a load of laundry in the washer.  This also happened just as Rob was getting home from school. She heard him say something like "Oh yum.  Hot bread."  When she came back through the kitchen about 45 minutes later to put the laundry in the dryer Rob had eaten about 3/4 of the loaf of bread. She went back into our apartment and brought out another loaf and said "Rob you might as well finish that one off but don't touch this new loaf.  It is for your parents!" I don't know if Rob actually finished the first loaf or not, but I would not be surprised if he did.  I always liked Tressa's hot

Breaking the Cannon Mold

I don't know that there ever really was a Cannon mold but people (I include myself in the category people) tend to categorize things and other people.  I don't know why.  Someone should do, or probably has done, a study about that and write a scholarly paper about it.  I just want to tell a couple of stories about having to tell other people I was different. I am not saying that Dave and Karl were exactly the same in High School but they had several things in common.  They both played the piano.  They were both in Band.  They were both on the Swim Team.  They were both older than me. So, some people had an idea on what "Cannons" were like. The first day of Seminary my Sophomore year Bro. Buchanan asked if anyone could play the piano for our opening song.  No one said anything.  Then some girl said "Todd is a Cannon.  All of the Cannon's play piano."  I said, "No, Dave and Karl play the piano,but I don't."  Bro. Buchanan said "Now T
